Her Christmastime Family is the second book in the Golden Matchmakers Club. The book was beautifully written with a gorgeous cover. It was a heartwarming small-town romance with all the Christmas fell goods. The matchmakers in the small town of Golden are plotting another romance between two single parents that need a little happiness themselves.
Single mother Faith Harper had made bad decisions in the past but after her divorce, she is determined to get things right. She wants to make new family traditions this year for her two children and give them the best Christmas to remember.
Police officer Roan Donovan was struggling with his two daughters and had never been excited about Christmas. With this being the second Christmas after the death of his wife, his children are wanting to celebrate the holidays like they use to. Roan realizes he does not know anything about holiday traditions, but his pretty neighbor Faith does.
It was only natural for their two families to do things together since both were doing it anyways. So, with a little help from the town’s matchmakers, their holiday plans are synced together. I loved seeing the matchmakers up to their schemes again. They are so determined for their younger family members to find happiness in the small town of Golden. Faith and Roan were perfect for each other and their support of each other helped their relationship grow. I loved seeing Faith’s confidence in herself grow and her family acknowledging her skills. I was glad to see Roan and his previous mother-in-law finally agree with each other. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the matchmakers' next couple they help to find their happiness.

I have one goal: To be the best hockey player I can be. I’m not going to waste the opportunity I have. All my focus is on hockey. I avoid distractions like women and relationships during the hockey season, but when a quirky subway busker asks me out on a fake date, somehow I’m intrigued enough to accept.
Emerie Ross
I gave up my music dreams to look after my half-sister. I don’t want her to feel as alone and neglected as I did after our mother died. But my ex-boyfriend is still trying to win me back and now my stepfather is helping him. Gah! I’d rather drink bleach than marry Roman Moretti. If they think I’m involved with someone else, maybe they’ll give up on that idea. All I need is a man…a date for a party.

When Emerie introduces me to her wicked stepfather (ha) I realize I’ve made a huge mistake. He’s my boss—the man who owns the team I play for. And he’s not happy to see me with Emerie. Can you say career ending move?
Emerie
Oops. I hate hockey. How was I supposed to know who Owen is? How are we going to keep Vince from trading him away? How am I going to make sure I stay happily un-married? We’re going to have to keep up this pretense even if it means me going to hockey games. Ugh. Even if it means disrupting Owen’s rigid routines. Even if it means everything gets a lot more complicated…
A small town, close proximity romance from New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kristen Proby.
Remi Carter has survived her fifteen minutes of fame and is putting LA in her rearview mirror. As a former reality show contestant, she's trading staged expeditions and faked wilderness tours for real adventures. Only one fluke storm in Glacier National Park has her stranded with a handsome man, and adventure takes on a whole new meaning. Seth King is as rugged and sexy as he is annoyed to be trapped with Remi. Probably because she ghosted him at the local bar not three days ago. But she's got her reasons for ditching him, and twenty-four hours in an abandoned Montana cabin with the wildlife biologist isn't nearly enough time to explain. As tempting as he is by firelight, she's been burned too many times. Except one day together and suddenly her travel van doesn't hold as much appeal. The open road feels lonely. Remi's about to learn that shelter is more than a safe place to weather a storm. Shelter might just be the man himself. If he can give her a reason to stay.

Shelter is the second book in the Heroes of Big Sky series by Kristen Proby. I haven’t read the previous book in the series, but this was perfectly fine reading as a standalone. It was short, easy to read, and fast-paced. The characters were likable and easy to connect with. I enjoyed meeting all the King family and characters of Cunningham Falls. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the rest of the King family in the future. This was a charming story that makes you feel good and leaves you smiling at the end.

Samantha Chases’s His for the Holidays was a delightful holiday book. It had a cute meet, characters you won’t forget, and a lot of humor. It was a fast read, had a good storyline, and was well written. The characters were charming, genuine, and realistic. I enjoyed meeting all of the Lawson family and loved all their holiday traditions.
Interior designer Hannah Christy returns home from Thanksgiving with her family only to get stuck in the elevator in her apartment building with the new guy. After spending hours taking while they waited for the elevator to work, she suggested Gage take a fake girlfriend to his mother’s Christmas get-together. Gage Lawson was charmed by Hannah in the elevator and wanted her to play his fake girlfriend. He loved how she fit in with his family and took everything in stride. Can their fake relationship turn into something real?
This was a cute holiday story and perfect for a Hallmark movie. This is a great book to read with hot chocolate and a warm blanket. It will leave you with all the feel-goods and holiday cheer.

Samantha Chase is a New York Times and USA Today bestseller of contemporary romance that's hotter than sweet, sweeter than hot. She released her debut novel in 2011 and currently has more than seventy titles under her belt - including THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE which was a Hallmark Christmas movie in 2017! She's a Disney enthusiast who still happily listens to 80's rock. When she's not working on a new story, she spends her time reading romances, playing way too many games of Solitaire on Facebook, wearing a tiara while playing with her sassy pug Maylene...oh, and spending time with her husband of 30 years and their two sons in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
How can Ava resist her best friend's brother when she's crushed on him since childhood?
I didn't think Alex could get any hotter, but his time at med school was good to him.
Dirty blond hair. A bit of scruff across his chiseled jawline. And a body beneath those scrubs that makes me think all sorts of naughty things.
Alex seems to be utter perfection... and he barely notices I exist.
Or so I thought. Lately, everywhere I look he's there. Renting a room in my bed and breakfast. Devouring my pastries. Wanting to talk every morning over coffee. Is it possible my lifelong crush finally sees me as more than his little sister's best friend?

My review:
4.5 stars Waiting for You is the sixth book in the Annapolis Harbor series and the first book I have read by Lea Coll. I am so glad I discovered her books since I love small-town romances and this book delivered. It was fast-paced, easy to read, and had lovable characters. Alex had returned home from New York, where he had been attending medical school, to Annapolis to finish his medical residency for ED. While completing school, he saw how other doctors’ marriages had been ruined because of how demanding the profession was so he never saw a relationship in his future. But coming home to Annapolis pointed out how empty his current life was and all he was missing out on by being away from his family. His attraction to Ava while staying at the B&B made him reevaluate what he really wanted in life. Ava had been crushing on Alex, her best friend’s older brother since she was a teenager. She knew she shouldn’t become involved with him since he would be returning to New York and was not interested in a relationship. She had already been left behind when her mother left when she was a child and her last boyfriend left with no thoughts of leaving her behind. She feared she was unlovable and knew he would break her heart when he left. This was a heartwarming small-town romance with all the feel-goods. Ava and Alex were the perfect couple and I enjoyed reading their book. I had no problem reading this book as a stand-alone but after meeting all the side characters I cannot wait to read their stories. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lea Coll worked as a trial attorney for over ten years. Now she stays home with her three children, plotting stories while fetching snacks and running them back and forth to activities. She enjoys the freedom of writing romance after years of legal writing.
She currently resides in Maryland with her family.
Until my one-night stand showed up in my small Alaskan town five months pregnant.
But I don’t shy away from responsibility. First, because I’m a Greene and not to boast but we’re kind of a big deal in Sunrise Bay. Second, I’m the Sheriff.
I couldn’t have predicted how protective I’d become for the safety of her and my unborn baby to the point of asking her to move in with me and be my roommate.
Just when I think I have the situation under control, another surprise knocks me over, but it only spurs me to double down.
I’ll be the first to admit, I didn’t think it through. Somewhere between the dinners, the TV show binging, the doctor appointments, and me walking in on her naked, lines blurred.
In what feels like warp speed, my bachelor for life status is in jeopardy and I’m fighting for the most important thing of all—my family.
