My review:

The Texas Seal’s Surprise is the first book in the new Three Springs, Texas series.  It was a charming small-town romance with wonderful characters.  I love small-town romances, and this was a perfect combination of mystery, matchmakers, humor, and family.  Abby wanted a fresh start after finding herself single and pregnant. Moving to Three Springs to help her cousin reopen the store her grandparents had owned sounded like the perfect place to put down roots.  Wes had nowhere else to go after leaving the military but never planned on staying in Three Springs.  He knew starting anything with Abby was a bad idea even though she brightened his day with her cheerfulness.  I loved how Abby was so positive and always trying to find the bright side.  She even put a smile on my face while reading the book.  Wes was a great guy but needed a little help understanding that family could be those you choose rather than blood relatives. This was a light and refreshing book that leaves you smiling at the end.  I recommend it and look forward to the next book.

My review:

Wild With You is the first book in the Light My Fire series which is a new firefighter series by J.H. Croix which takes place in Willow Creek, Alaska. I’ve not read many books by this author, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It was well written, fast-paced, and easy to read. The main characters were likable and had depth. I always love a small-town romance and this one did not disappoint. Madison and Graham were perfect for each other, and I loved their first meet. They never expected to see each other again and especially become neighbors. Their romance was slow-burn and swoon-worthy. This is certainly a book I would recommend, and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
