Newly
drafted NHL player, Jace Kingston was trying to move away and escape his
overbearing siblings when he got drafted.
All those plans were ruined when his older brother drafted him for his
family’s hockey team, the Philadelphia Revolutions. Thinking his only problem now will be with
his teammates thinking he was drafted due to his name; he was shocked to
discover he was a father to a baby with an unknown mother. Finding a nanny before the season started,
became his number-one priority.
Finding a
teaching job in her hometown after graduating was harder than India
thought. Being a nanny was not what she
wanted but the job offer was too good for her to pass up. She only needs to commit to one year and she
could pay her student loans off. Falling
for her boss was not in the plans.
Iced is the
third book in the Defiant Kings series but I recommend reading the series in
order. I was so excited to read Jace’s
story; it is now my favorite in the series.
Ms. Matthews's books keep getting better and I have come to absolutely
adore the Kingston family. I love their
family dynamics and all their witty banter.
This was another delightful story that will touch your heart and I
highly recommend it. I cannot wait for
the next book.
