I had no desire to work out my differences with Felix freaking Jameson. He already broke my heart twice and I wasn’t going to let him do it a third time.

I just hoped the cabin was big enough for the both of us. And that I could forget how good it felt when his mouth was on mine. I definitely wasn’t going to let him into my bed again. Definitely not.

Trapped in Love is a small-town summer vacation romance set in the Poconos. If you love enemies to lovers and forced proximity, this one is for you.

My review:

Trapped in Love is the second book in the MacGregor Brothers Brewing Company.  This is a fairly new author and after reading the first book, Accidently in Love, which I absolutely loved, I couldn’t wait for Gemma and Felix’s story.  It was steamy forced proximity and enemies to lovers’ romance. 

Gemma and Felix’s relationship started off rocky when he stood her up on their first date.  After that, their work environment was full of conflict.  Mischievously, Gemma’s sister encourages her to get away for a while to their father’s cabin in the Poconos while also sending Felix there to get away.  Can a summer vacation romance survive when they return home?

Gemma and Felix were likable characters, and they had many layers.  Most of their problems were due to miscommunication or no communication at all such as Felix never telling Gemma about his sister. Gemma was immature and jumped into action before thinking about the outcome.  I was cheering for them the entire book and was so glad they finally opened up and communicated.  I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read the next book which is Declan’s story.
