Heartless Sinner is the first book in the Made for the Mafia series. This was a new-to-me author, but the blurb and cover were eye-catching so I wanted to check it out. My attention was caught in the beginning, and I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. It was fast-paced, full of intrigue, and the storyline was developed. I loved watching Marla and Vincent’s relationship grow. As a mafia capo, Vincent needed to get married according to his father. Vincent wanted a woman who was strong and could be his partner but finding such a woman was not easy. Until Marla arrived on his doorstep to ask for his help discovering who had killed her brother. She was the perfect woman for the job; she was tough and had grown up in the mafia world. Their marriage would be beneficial to them both. The book was full of twists and turns, and I was incredibly surprised by the ending. I really enjoyed the book, and I am glad I was able to read it. I look forward to the next book in the series.
