My review:

Perfect Enemy is the second book in the Beckham Dynasty series.  This author is still pretty new to me but after reading the first book, Tempting Enemy, I couldn’t wait for Jace and Cove’s story.  The books in this series are full of spice, angst, and swoon-worthy heroes.

Cove had crushed on her friend’s older brother Jace for years until he crushed her feelings.  She was able to avoid him for years until he retired from the military.  Now he is constantly around, monitoring his sister and Cove’s life.  For years Jace felt guilty for hurting Cove’s feelings when she was a child.  Now her life is at risk and to save her, he must reveal his secrets.

This was the perfect enemy to a lover’s romance.  It was full of angst, witty banter, and suspense.  I recommend it and cannot wait for the next book in the series.
