My review:

She Was Mine First was a beautiful and heartbreaking story of two childhood best friends falling in love with each other as teenagers but life separated them. They manage to stay best friends and years later find their way back to love again. It was full of emotions, and I really enjoyed it. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down.
Rosie and Ethan became best friends as kids and their strong connection survived all the hurdles that life threw at them. Asking Ethan to be her man of honor was a given to Rosie. She thought she had let go of her love for Ethan years ago but days before her wedding she started to have doubts.
Ethan always loved Rosie, but he let time get away from him. Just as he is ready to claim her again, he discovers she has moved on to another man. It will break his heart to see her marry someone else, but he won’t let Rosie down on her wedding day.

Sinful Enemy is the third book in the Beckham Dynasty series.  This book was full of spice, angst, and second chances.

This was an interesting book and had a great storyline.  I didn’t care so much for the way the author skipped back and forth in time.  It felt like time whiplash.  But overall it was an enjoyable book and I would read it again.

Perfect Enemy is the second book in the Beckham Dynasty series.  This author is still pretty new to me but after reading the first book, Tempting Enemy, I couldn’t wait for Jace and Cove’s story.  The books in this series are full of spice, angst, and swoon-worthy heroes.

Cove had crushed on her friend’s older brother Jace for years until he crushed her feelings.  She was able to avoid him for years until he retired from the military.  Now he is constantly around, monitoring his sister and Cove’s life.  For years Jace felt guilty for hurting Cove’s feelings when she was a child.  Now her life is at risk and to save her, he must reveal his secrets.

This was the perfect enemy to a lover’s romance.  It was full of angst, witty banter, and suspense.  I recommend it and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Haven Beckham had just turned 18 years old and had big plans for after high school.  She wants to travel to Europe like she and her mom had planned but she needs money for it.  Working at The Outlaw, a biker club, is the fastest way to earn money and stay out of her overly protective brother’s radar.

“I know what it feels like to be alone, to feel like you have no one on your side, but you have me.  I’m here for you, Hayes.  No matter what.”

Chase Hayes knows Haven is trouble and refuses to hire her at The Outlaw but his dad hires her anyways.  Which meant Chase had to keep her safe from the bikers, customers, and himself.  Chase tries to resist the connection between them, but she pushes all his buttons until he can’t stay away from her. 

This was a fast-paced enemy to lovers’ romance and the first book in the Beckham Dynasty series.  It grabbed my attention from the beginning, and I couldn't stop until the end.  I enjoyed it and can’t wait for the other Beckham sibling stories.

My review:

Second Chance Rival is the fifth book in the Second Chance series.  I haven’t read all the books in the series, but I had no trouble following the story.  The book was well written, and the pacing was perfect.  My attention was caught at the beginning and I could not put the book down.

Tristan and Belle’s families were business rivals, so they had to hide their love when they were in high school.  When their grandfathers discover their relationship, they force Tristan to leave town without talking to Belle.  Belle was hurt by Tristan’s sudden disappearance and doesn’t trust him when their grandfathers arrange a marriage between the two of them. 

Tristan and Belle were so easy to connect with and very likable.  I loved how Tristan was not afraid to admit his feeling from the beginning and was determined to win her love again.  I understood Belle’s hesitation in trusting Tristan, but I was cheering for him the entire book.  I was so happy to see them get their second chance at happiness together.  This was an entertaining book and I look forward to reading future books by the author.
