My review:
This was a short but sweet small-town romance. The story is short but enjoyable with likable characters. Quinn inherited a pub from her uncle that is about to go into foreclosure. She is fiercely independent and wants to keep it open on her own. Wes was always interested in Quinn in high school but with their age differences, he stayed away. Now he is back in town and hoping she will go out with him. As their relationship grows, Wes wants to help Quinn keep her pub, but she refuses his help. Can they find a way to work together? This was a perfect book if you are looking for a small-town romance that is a quick read.
She has worked on both sides of the publishing industry, both in a bookstore and for actual publishing companies. Although she loved both for different reasons, she found that writing was her true passion and has spent the last few years breaking into the industry as best she can.
She is a lover of all things romance and began her writing journey in her late twenties. Since then, she has immersed herself in the romance genre and couldn't be happier.
When she's not writing or reading, she enjoys binging a great Netflix show (Stranger Things anyone?), baking (because who doesn't love cookies!) and spending time with her family.
