My review: 

Kiss Me is the fifth and final book in The Donovan’s series by Samantha Chase but would be fine reading as a standalone. It was a well-written small-town romance with fake marriage between two friends. I always love a small-town romance and this one checked all the boxes. The series is about the five Donavan siblings, and this was Patrick’s story.

Marissa Barrett’s family was always creating problems for her.   She usually had a solution but when her brother puts her life in danger, she realizes she needs help.  When her boss, Patrick, suggests a marriage between them, she finds herself at the courthouse getting married.  

Patrick Donovan had always been attracted to Marissa but never acted upon it since she was his employee.  His meddling mother has accomplished finding matches for his siblings and has now focused her attention on him.  Suggesting a marriage of convenience to Marissa will give him a year free of her meddling.  But can they ignore the connection between them when they are in such close proximity?

I hate to see the end of the series, but this book was the perfect ending.  I really enjoyed it.  It was easy to read and had great characters.  I loved getting to see the entire Donovan family one more time and meeting their extended family, who will be part of the upcoming new series.  I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait for the new series to become available!
