To me, he’s the cocky jerk whose favorite pastime has always been torturing me.

The only thing we’ve ever agreed on is our mutual dislike for each other.

But that was before I moved in next-door to him, and we shockingly agreed on something else.

There’s a fine line between love and hate.

The problem is . . . I think I crossed that line.

My review:

Shaken is the second book in the Defiant Kings series but we met Sawyer Kingston in the Restless Kin series. These two series overlap and has become one of my favorite book families. The Kingston’s are fun, charismatic, and very co-dependent on each other, so they are always in each other’s ventures.

I loved all the sassy and witty banter between Sawyer and Wren. They had known each other since childhood, making it difficult to avoid each other when their friends and families were interconnected. I loved watching their relationship change as they finally opened up and cleared all the misunderstandings. They are the perfect couple and I cannot wait for the next book which is Jace’s.
