My review:

The Saint is the fifth book in the Intelligence Unit series.  I had no trouble reading the books as standalones or out of order.  The storyline was developed, and the characters were likable.  We meet Liam and Carmen in the previous books and their interactions were always tense.  I was so happy to see their connection to one another become more personal and for them to get their happy ever after.

All the books in the series are fast-paced and full of twists with nail-biting intrigue.  They are connected but each has their own happy ending with no cliffhangers.  My attention was caught from the start, and I could not put the book down until I finished it.  I highly recommend the series and hope to see the Intelligence unit again.
