“Funny how you can meet someone in the oddest of times to find out they give you the advice, the hope, and the will to change something that you haven’t had the strength to change before.”

Final Proposal is the third book in the S.I.N. series but I read it as a standalone with no problems. It was straightforward, fast-paced, and easy to read. I really loved how in tune Ford and Ellery were with each other. Their cute meet was original and full of witty banter. Their connection was strong from the moment they met, and they really understood each other and how it felt not to be seen for who you are.

Ford felt invisible after reading his father describe him as “Just Ford” in his biography. As the middle triplet, he felt like he was in his brother’s shadow and his father had nothing good to say about him. He wants to be successful as himself and not as part of the family’s business.

“… when a woman’s temper makes you love her even more, when her defiance makes you want to challenge her, and when her smile makes you want to earn each and every one then you know…”

Ellery feels like her stepfather and stepbrothers undervalue her and never give her a chance to succeed. Even her engagement to Chandler was arranged for their companies to merge. After meeting Ford, she decides to stop settling and take a chance.

This was a wonderful and enjoyable book. I loved the characters and meeting the other Sharpe siblings. I highly recommend this book.
