My rating: 5 out of 5 stars My review: Jock Wanted is the sixth book in the Rookie Rebels series but it can be read as a stand-alone with no problem.  It was well written, fast-paced, and had charming characters.  I loved meeting all the Chicago Rebels and their family.  Hale was the grumpy and broody General Manager that is trying to keep his players out of trouble and the media.  Tara was sunshine and happy compared to Hale.  She was friends with the teammate’s wives and girlfriends and was willing to help clean up a players’ images.  She needed the money to help take care of her sister.   This was a charming and easy-to-read book.  The age-gap and opposites attract theme worked well with the plot.  I enjoyed reading it and look forward to future books in the series.
