Review: Say You're Mine

Say You're Mine

by Layla Hagen

I swear I didn’t mean to flirt with the world-famous Brayden Clarke—especially not right in the middle of an interview for a job.

It was a slip—or perhaps a gut reaction to his smoldering eyes and deep, sexy voice.

To my total disbelief, they give me the assignment. My task is simple: advise Brayden and his band on how to communicate with their fans. Easy-peasy. Or so I thought...
I can handle the job, but the sexy lead singer who's intent on getting under my skin might be too hot to resist.

But our lives are too different. His life is under constant scrutiny. I thrive on freedom and spontaneity. I like exploring the streets of New York and meeting up with my siblings without needing security detail.

But when we’re together, all our differences fade, and I can’t get enough of this man. And he won’t quit until he makes me his.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My Review:
Say You’re Mine is the first book in The Gallaghers Series by the amazing author Layla Hagen. I only recently discovered her books, and I was in awe of how she can make her characters come alive! Once I start reading one of her books, nothing gets done the rest of the day because I get so immersed in them. I love how she weaves her series together and creates warm friendships between her characters. This is the first book of the Gallaghers family and is Brayden’s story, but the side characters of the entire band really add to the book.
Isabelle Gallagher has finally moved to New York and is closer to her siblings. She has started her own practice and has the opportunity to work with the band GreenFire to help improve their media profiles. Getting involved with the swoon-worthy lead singer would do nothing but break her heart. Brayden Clarke's life was constantly under the scrutiny of the band’s fans. He couldn’t go anywhere without carefully planning beforehand and with security guards tagging along. The band was about to leave on tour, and he knew it was not a good idea to start a relationship but something about Isabelle made him want more.
This was an amazing start to the series. Even though I read it as a stand-alone, I loved the warmth of the friendships and families. I can’t wait for the next books in the series and even though the band members aren’t Gallaghers I hope to see them in the future. They need their own happy ever afters.
I received an ARC and am willingly leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
