Meet Cute by Elise Faber is available now!
I’m just a girl from a small town.
He lives in L.A when he’s not traveling the world. I live in Utah, and the furthest I’ve been is a few states away.
He’s beautiful. I’m . . . just me.
Talbot Green is the man who has everything—fame, money, adoring fans—and I’m just a girl from a small town, childhood friends with his publicist, and looking forward to spending a few days in warm and sunny California.
Then I saved his life.
In front of the paparazzi.
And suddenly, my face is everywhere—on social media, on TV, on magazine covers. Suddenly, I’m not just a girl from a small town, who’s living a small life. Suddenly . . . I belong to Talbot Green, at least in the eyes of the media.
And also . . . perhaps in the eyes of Talbot himself.
But maybe, just maybe, he belonged to me right back.
Meet Cute is
the 5th book in the Love, Camera, Action series but was fine to read
as a stand-alone. It was fast-past,
interesting, easy to read, and had a developed storyline. I loved that the author used the heroine as
the protective figure and the hero as the “damsel in distress”. Tammy was a police officer and her instincts
saved Talbot’s life. Too bad the
paparazzi filmed the entire scene and now Tammy’s quiet life in small-town Utah
can never return to the same. Talbot was
instantly attracted to Tammy but knew they led such separate lives so pursuing
her was useless, especially since she was friends with his publicist,
Maggie. But when she saves his life, he
can help but become protective and pursue her.
They were a perfect couple because they both grew up isolated from
family and could understand each other’s needs and emotions. I loved that Talbot was supportive of Tammy
and did not have his manly feelings hurt when she took the protective role in
their relationship. This was such an
exciting and intriguing book and I look forward to future books in the series.
I received
an ARC and am willingly leaving a review.
