My review:

Chance is the second book in the Ghost Ops series, a spin-off of the HOT series. It was an amazing book, and I was tugged into the story from the beginning. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished. It was easy to read, full of intrigue, and the plot and main characters were developed. The side characters were charming and so easy to fall in love with.
Former HOT member, Chance “Wrath” Hughes and his team were on a mission that was top secret. The team didn’t even know what it was, all they knew was they had to move to a small town in Alabama and stay under the radar.
Aurora “Rory” Harper’s heart was broken when her ex-fiancé left her for her bridesmaid three weeks before the wedding. After that she refused to let anyone close enough to break her heart again, especially a playboy like Chance.
This was another great book, and I loved seeing the Ghost Ops team again. The book was straightforward and it leads us right into the next book in the series.

My review:

Blaze is the first book in the Ghost Ops series, a spin-off of the HOT series.  It was an amazing book to start the series. I was pulled into the story from the beginning and couldn’t put the book down until I finished. It was easy to read, full of intrigue, and ended with a twist I never saw coming.  The characters were charming and so easy to fall in love with.

Former HOT member, Blaze Connolly (Shadow) and his team were on a mission that was so secret they didn’t even know what it was about.  They just knew they had to move to a small town in Alabama and stay under the radar.  

ER doctor Emma Sutton returned to her hometown to take over her father’s family practice after a bad breakup. She thought she was imagining someone watching her, but Blaze said she needed to trust her instincts.  And her instincts were telling her Blaze would keep her safe.

This was a great book and I loved meeting the Ghost Ops team.  The ending of the book leads us into the next book, which is Chance and Rory’s story.  I cannot wait to see how their love/hate relationship turns out.

My review:

HOT Honor is the eighth book in the Hostile Operations Team: Strike Team 2. Each book can be read as a standalone and the characters from other series cross over a lot, which I love. Zane “Zany” Scott is the last single man on his team, and he plans on keeping it that way after he was burned by his girlfriend in high school. He quit doing relationships after she cheated on him and married someone else. But a trip to Las Vegas for his sister’s birthday ends with him waking up married to a stranger. Now he cannot get her out of his mind and when her life is at risk, he finds himself jumping in to save her. Eden Hall was shy and always felt plain compared to her twin sister, Abby. Everyone loved Abby, even the man Eden had fallen in love with. After a few too many drinks, Eden sheds her inhibitions and finds herself married the next morning to the handsome man who had saved her the night before. Can their hasty marriage lead to something good? This was such a great book and I loved watching Eden slowly gain self-confidence. Zane was so sweet and couldn’t understand why Eden couldn’t see herself like he did. They were perfect for each other. Although they each had their own baggage, together they were able to overcome them. I loved seeing all the team members again and cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us next. My review:

Black Velvet is the seventh book in the Black’s Bandits series, but I had no trouble reading it as a standalone.  The suspense grabbed me from the beginning, and I couldn’t put the book down.  It was fast-paced, suspenseful, and easy to read.  

Romance writer Roberta “Robbie” Sharpe didn’t think she needed a bodyguard, but her publisher insisted she did after she receives hateful letters and someone broke into her home. Dax didn’t want to play the role of boyfriend, especially to a romance writer.   

The chemistry between Robbie and Dax was sizzling and hot from the beginning.  I loved seeing their relationship grow and them overcoming their issues.  I enjoyed reading the book and will definitely be looking for the next book in the series.
