His Wicked Ways is the fifth book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series. You can’t help falling in love with the Wicked family and their friends.  These loyal alpha men and their sassy women will touch your heart and keep you coming back for more of their stories.  This is Blaine Wicked, Preacher and Reba’s oldest child, and Reese Wilder’s journey to happiness. 

 As the oldest of five children, Blaine was a natural protector and take-charge type of man.  Rescuing a sassy stripper at a bachelor’s party should have been enough, but something about Reese made it hard for him to stay away.  He sees the same older sibling protectiveness in her that he has. He doesn’t do relationships but something about Reese tugs at this heart.

 “You don’t scare me, Blaine Wicked. But all that heartache trapped inside you does…Your grief is stacked up inside you like cars on a highway with no exit. Maybe we should build some exit ramps and see what happens.”

Forensic scientist Reese Wilder had protected her younger sister Colette her entire life. With her mother in rehab and all the bills being overdue, Reese takes a part time job helping with entertainment at parties; not realizing she would be the entertainment.  After the groom-to-be gets a little handsy, Blaine helps her get out of the party.  Then he keeps coming back to help her, no matter how hard she tries to push him away.  She knows better than to depend on anyone, but he proves he can be depended upon every time.

This was another outstanding book in the interconnected Love in Bloom series.  Although each book can be read as a standalone, I am slowly making my way through this awesome series and love every book.  I highly recommend reading this book and the entire series.
