My review:

Living in a small town next door to each other as children with their parents as best friends, meant Connor and Hadley were forced to be around each other. Sparks go flying when Connor and Hadley accidentally get married in Vegas.  They must pretend to be in love but maybe their love for each other had always been there.

Waiting to Win is the second book in the new Lake Spark Off-Season series by Evey Lyon. This was a new-to-me author and I’m so glad I had the chance to read one of her books. I have always liked small-town romances and this small-town story in Lake Spark certainly has a lot of charm. The book was easy to read, and the characters were so easy to connect with.  The witty banter between Hadley and Connor had me laughing all the way through.  I have already read it twice and I know I will certainly be reading it again!  I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
