Freya Olysses thought she was escaping her life as a member of the Olysses mafia family and creating her own life. Until Gunner shows up and saves her one night, now her family’s enemies are looking for her. Freya would rather risk it alone than stay with the man who humiliated her five years prior. But escaping him is impossible.
Gunner Anderson was unnerved by his attraction to Freya and watching her and keeping her safe was more of a personal matter. When her life is in danger, he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe and happy (even letting her sweet-talk him into retrieving her cute pet bunny, Killer). Can their proximity to each other help Freya see Gunner for the man he is?
This book grabbed me from the beginning, and I could not put it down until I finished it. I loved seeing Gunner, the big alpha hero, fall for Freya. They had so much chemistry between them and were perfect for each other. I also loved how all the tough guys seemed to fall for the cute bunny, Killer. It was just too cute!
Stealth is the first book in the brand-new series Locked Security. After reading this book, I couldn’t believe I had never come across her work before. So, I had to do some research and found out the author previously published the series under the name of Sarah Peis, who is moving her dark romance books over to her new pen name Senna Kincaid. She is still a new author to me, but I am now following her closely for the next book in the series, Deception. The characters in the Locked Security series overlap with her other series, Tainted Kings, which I am also looking forward to reading. I cannot wait until they become available.
