My brother’s fiancรฉe should have been mine.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, and it’s not quite as bad as it sounds. Linc was running late for their first date and he begged me to stand in until he could get there.

I only went to tell the girl to run. To warn her about my brother’s selfish ways and promise she wanted no part of it.

But then I saw her. The stunning woman with auburn hair, sky blue eyes, and freckles I wanted to memorize.

The hour I spent with Audrey was hands down the best date of my life. Until my brother showed up.

Now, I’m covering his butt again. This time at their wedding rehearsal, because Linc hasn’t learned a damn thing. Work still comes first and that says a lot, doesn’t it?

So, sure… I’ll hold Audrey’s hand at the altar. And I’ll look into her eyes and wish like hell she would realize she deserves so much more.

I should have told her to run that night two and half years ago. Because all I want to do now is what I wasn’t bold enough to do then…

Steal her away for myself.

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars
My review:

Kissing My Brother’s Bride is the first book in The Kissing Games series.  This was a new-to-me author, so I was so excited I had the chance to read it.  The series is a collection of books from multiple authors which I always love since I get to discover new authors while also getting to read books by some of my favorite authors. This book was the perfect book to start the series with.  It was well written, had loveable characters, and grabbed my attention from the beginning.

Liam fell in love with Audrey at first sight, but she was his brother’s date.  When his brother doesn’t show up for his wedding, Liam finally has a chance to win Audrey over.

Audrey was more embarrassed by her fiancรฉ not showing up to their wedding than anything.  Falling for her best friend and her ex-fiancรฉ’s brother seemed crazy but she did it.  Can their happiness withstand everyone’s doubt?

This was a wonderful book, and I loved the connection between Liam and Audrey.  Liam was such a sweetheart and so in love with Audrey.  He was there for her and willing to stay in the friend zone just to be in her life.  It was so heartbreaking but so sweet!  I loved this book, and I am so glad I had the chance to discover Ms. McLain.  I cannot wait for the next book in the series, Kissing the Rival by Kaylee Ryan.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
