Synopsis

“I think it’s the only way to fix me.”

One sentence.

One phrase.

It will haunt him if he ignores it, but his heart isn’t in the Dom business at the moment.

Aiden and his partners put their blood, sweat, and plenty of submissives’ tears into making Fairford Manor a huge success, but owning a luxury kink resort hasn’t turned out quite as he expected. After the latest disaster, it’s time for a vacation from the Manor, to hopefully reset his life.

But he can’t forget Olivia—especially once she’s at the gates having a full-blown panic attack. And what’s worse, she’s stunning and sweet and fragile. Nothing tempts him more than something broken. So he’ll be her Dom. He’ll teach her to let down her ironclad guard and submit. Then he can walk away.

Olivia knew she found her perfect Dom the moment he carried her through the gates. Tall, brooding, gorgeous . . . and kind. She’d never been one to attract kindness. But this was it. The final piece to fix her screwed-up puzzle. This kink resort and this man had to be the thing that worked.

She’ll have to trust. She’ll have to lay herself bare. If she can do it, her life might never be the same.

“Since it’s your first time, I’ll go a little easy on you,” Aiden said, starting to rub her bottom with those same slow, gentle circles. “Do you remember the safe word you chose in your application?”

She was so distracted by the feel of his skin against hers that she was only half paying attention. “Mmm,” she said noncommittally.

“Olivia.” His voice was stern, and her eyes snapped open. “I asked you a question. I expect a proper answer.”

Fuck. What had he said? Something about her application . . . her safe word. That was it.

“Orchid, Sir.”

Leaning into her, he traced the orchid tattoo on her upper arm with his fingertip. “Good girl. Let’s get started. Consider this your welcome to the world where you so obviously belong.” He stepped away from her, exposing her bared ass to the afternoon sun.

Crack.

“Oh my fucking God.” The words spilled out of Olivia’s mouth quite against her will. It felt that fucking good.

A soft chuckle from Aiden. “Please try to remember one of the things you’re being punished for is bad language.”

“Oh. Right. Sorry, Sir.”

Crack. Crack. Crack.

Those three firm swats left her breathless. This was going easy on her? She’d expected an almost playful spanking that barely even turned her skin pink. She hadn’t been close to right. If this was what his hand felt like, she couldn’t wait until he spanked her with other things. The Manor had to be full of paddles and floggers and straps and—

Another long volley of spanks interrupted her lewd reverie. “Fuuuuuuuu . . .” She only managed to stop herself from finishing the word at the last second, and she let it trail off instead.

Aiden’s hand rested on her bottom again. Before, it had been warm and somewhat calming. Now, the friction as his skin moved across hers made her flaming ass burn even hotter. She shivered.

“I might have to gag you in the future,” he said, his chuckle low and dark. “To save you from yourself. Though I assure you, I’d be happy to prolong any punishment if that’s what you truly need.”

Olivia wasn’t sure if he was expecting a response, and before she made up her mind, he started spanking her again. Only this time, he didn’t let up after a handful of swats.

She realized she’d been subconsciously keeping count when he hit ten. She was panting and moaning like a two-penny whore by twenty-five. After that, she stopped counting and just let herself feel. Every time his hand impacted with one of her cheeks, it was like an explosion of heat and energy. And she didn’t only feel it on her ass. She felt it everywhere. It was like her entire body was charged with an electric current, all running straight to her nipples and clit and achingly empty pussy.

Then his hands moved lower, two fingers plunging into her, filling that desperate void. It felt so good, but not enough, not even remotely enough.

“Please,” she said, the word slipping out before she’d even thought it. “Please, please, please, please.” She didn’t even know what she was begging for. But Aiden would know. He had to know.

With his other hand, he pinched her clit. Hard. She cried out, the whole of the English language quite forgotten at that point. And as he rubbed against the tiny bundle of nerves in faster and faster circles, his fingers still pumping in and out of her, harder and faster and unending, she mewled like a bitch in heat.

She may have screamed when the orgasm finally hit her, an explosion of pleasure unlike anything she’d ever felt before. She honestly couldn’t remember.

At long last, everything was quiet and still.

Dear God in heaven. She must be dead. Either that or she was having an out-of-body experience. Those were the only possible explanations for the amazing, floaty feeling running through her entire body. She tried to move, but her limbs were full of lead. She could hardly even feel her legs.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew Aiden was pulling up her panties and lowering her dress. But she couldn’t summon enough mental energy to care.

Aiden leaned over her, his thighs pressing against hers, his chest hard against her back. “Let’s get you to bed, beautiful girl,” he whispered against her ear. Then she was rising, though she couldn’t remember deciding to do so, or even how to stand at that point. Aiden was in total control, scooping her into his arms and cradling her gently against his chest.

She tried to open her eyes. To look up at him. To thank him for the glorious, earth-shattering experience he’d given her, and for taking care of her now. But it was like her eyelids were glued shut.

“I’m floating,” she said, not sure why, but needing to say the words. “You made me fly.”

And then she was fast asleep.
