My review:

Successful matchmaker April was happy helping others find love but wasn’t in a hurry to find her own match.  She had no plans on bidding on a bachelor at the auction she had to attend but her friend and fellow matchmaker had other ideas.  Now she is stuck going on a date with Robbie, the hot but rude fireman.

“You want all of those things in the future because you haven’t met anyone who makes you want them now.”

After getting so much attention from the calendar he was in, firefighter Robbie was tired of women throwing themselves at him.  None of them wanted to get to know him, they just wanted to say they hooked up with the hot firefighter.  Being forced to participate in a bachelor’s auction for a charity was just another way for women to objectify him.   Neither wanted to go on a date, but fate may have helped them find their soul mate.

Fools in Love is part of the Fun for the Holidays series.  It was short but super cute.  Robbie and April were easy to relate with and charming.  It was the perfect book for a light read with little time.
