My review:
Groundball is the fourth book in the
new steamy Vegas Heat: Expansion Team series. I have just recently discovered
this author so when I read the blurb, I was definitely interested in reading the
series. And it has been just as good as it sounded!
There was an instant connection and
lots of chemistry between Cooper and Gabby. What started out as a one-night stand became more
but then they discover Cooper is her dad’s best friend. Keeping their love for one another a secret from
Gabby’s father can only last so long.
All secrets get revealed at some point.
Can their love withstand the difficulties and the secrets?
Cooper and Gabby are great characters,
and they have a strong connection. I
didn’t realize the series was a continuation of one another. Usually, I don’t read books that end with
cliffhangers but this series has me hooked and I cannot wait to see what the
last book has in store for us.
