My review for Curveball:
Curveball is the first book in the new steamy Vegas Heat:
Expansion Team series. I have just recently discovered this author so when I
read the blurb, I was definitely interested in reading it. And the book is just as good as it
seemed! There was an instant connection
and lots of chemistry between Cooper and Gabby.
Gabby lived in Las Vegas and meet Cooper while celebrating
her birthday. What started out as a
one-night stand became a weekend fling.
They both wanted to see where their connection would take them, but
their secrets might destroy their relationship before it even starts.
The book had great characters and an interesting
storyline. It was a low-angst, fun, and
enjoyable book to read. I didn’t realize
it would end on a cliffhanger so was caught off guard by the surprise at the
end. After the surprise ending, I
realized the series is actually five books long so now we wait to see if they
find their happy ever after.
My review for Fastball:
Fastball is
the second book in the new steamy Vegas Heat: Expansion Team series. I have
just recently discovered this author so when I read the blurb, I was definitely
interested in reading the series. The
series must be read in order to see if Cooper and Gabby will get their happy
ending. This book picked up from the surprise
ending of the first book. Gabby and
Cooper were shocked and certain factors stop them from pursuing their
relationship further. But Gabby isn’t
ready to give up. To avoid spoilers you
will have to read the book yourself to see if they can overcome all the obstacles
in the way of their future together.
