just coming out of disastrous relationships and neither wanted any
commitments. They never expected to see
each other again...
Chase spent
the next year trying to get Callie out of his mind. After a chance meeting a year later, he is not
willing to let her go again.
As a single
mother, Callie has no time for anything other than her career and her daughter,
Emmy. She has seen what a player Chase
is from all the media, and she wants no part of it. Also, she has kept their daughter a secret
from him. How will Chase react when her
secret is revealed?
Whatever it Takes
is part of the Knights Football series written by L.M. Reid, a new-to-me
author. It was a fast-paced second
chance romance with low angst. Chase and Callie were charming characters and
Emmy was too precious. I loved everything
about this book and cannot wait to read the others in the series.

L.M. Reid writes contemporary romance that is filled with emotion and a whole lot of steam. Her heroines are strong and feisty, and her heroes are sweet and sexy. L.M. loved reading as a child and really fell in love with books while reading the Babysitter’s Club.
