Taylor moved to London for a job and a new start after being traumatically assaulted in her apartment in New York. She thought moving would help her overcome her fear and feel safer. She never considered she would run into her brother’s best friend and the boy she had crushed on forever. The last time she had seen him was the night they had slept together, and he disappeared. Now he was her boss, and they would have to work together. Jack had loved Taylor for years but after receiving devastating news, he ran so she could have everything she wanted in life. Now fate has put them both in the same country and working together so maybe this is their chance to find happiness together after all. This was a beautiful second-chance romance that will tug at your heart. The character’s emotions poured off the pages taking me on an emotional roller coaster ride. I couldn’t seem to get enough or put the book down until I finished it. I love second-chance romances and I highly recommend the book. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
