MINE TO CHERISH by Natasha Madison

Release Date: September 13

From USA Today bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a small town, enemies to lovers second chance romance.

Things are supposed to go smoothly on your wedding day.
Aren't they?

Clarabella
Did I want to get married today?
It's hard to say when he proposed in front of over a hundred people.
Everything happened so fast, and I thought it was just nerves.
It was not.
The knock on the door showed me that what I was feeling was more than just cold feet.
I was a runaway bride.

Luke
The whole town was busy attending her wedding.
She was the one I let get away when I told her our night together was a mistake and then left town.
So I planned to spend the weekend getting drunk.
When she ran out of the church looking for a hideout, I opened the car door for her.
My cabin has one bed, and my longing looks don't mix well.
Somehow, I have to keep my heart intact and her reputation together.

Maybe she was just mine to cherish.

My rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My review:

Mine to Cherish is the third book in the Southern Wedding series which is based on wedding days that turn into nightmares.  So far, every book has been great; I think that starting with Mine to Kiss and reading them in order is best.  I was really looking forward to Clarabella and Luke’s story since the tension between them in previous books was intense.

Luke’s restaurant catered for the weddings Clarabella and her sisters organized.  One night Luke and Clarabella gave in to their attraction to each other and crossed the friendship line.  After their night together, Luke got cold feet and left town suddenly without talking to Clarabella.  She tried to forget about Luke and after dating another guy for a short time, she finds herself being proposed to in front of everyone.  Just as her wedding day gets close, Luke returns to town after being gone for six months.  He was shocked and disappointed to discover Clarabella was getting married.  Will the wedding be successful?

I loved how perfect Luke and Clarabella were together.  I was a little frustrated with Luke’s actions, but he was so swoon-worthy and did redeem himself in the end.  The banter between Clarabella and her sisters was very entertaining and had me giggling.  This is one of those books that leaves you smiling at the end and wanting to keep on reading.  I highly recommend it and cannot wait for the next book.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
