My review:
A great book to start off the In Clear Sight series. It was full of action, intrigue, twists, and a very unpredictable ending. The plot and characters had many layers to unravel which kept me in suspense the entire book. Just as I thought I figured out some new twist would pop up. It was fast-paced, well-written, and entirely enjoyable to read. The connection between Max and Rachel was instantaneous and I loved how well they mashed together. I definitely look forward to the next book and hope it might be Trapp or Slade’s story. They were crucial side characters but not a lot was revealed about them.
