My review:
Brawler’s Weakness is the second book in the Tennessee Thunderbolts series. It was well written, had likable characters, and was entertaining.
Axel was grumpy and closed off but had a soft spot for Maisy. He felt the connection between them but had been out of the dating scene for years. His daughter was in college, and he had never met a woman who would stick around. He was protective of Maisy but scared to pursue her. Maisy was sunshine and everything good. She made terrible choices with her past boyfriends and her self-esteem was low. I loved watching Axel help her realize she was beautiful.
It was wonderful seeing Axel and Maisy open up to each other. I loved watching their characters grow as their relationship grew. This was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it.
I look forward to the next book in the series.
