That way, I might be marginally less grumpy from worrying about her. Think she’ll let me get away with that?

No surprise the rest of the band thinks it’s hilarious watching me sweat while failing miserably at corralling my girl or getting her to spend some of my money. That is, until a shadow from our past shows up that puts everything at risk. I appreciate their help, but you can tell them from me they need to go find their own women. No falling in love with Lilah.

Acceptable Limits is a steamy, small town, grumpy billionaire rock-star romcom (with an age gap, an HEA, and at least two kitchen sinks). Think you might recognize Todd? (unlike some people…) He first appeared in Challenging Burke. Once he found Lilah though, he insisted on interrupting that series for his own story, right back on quirky Embrace Island!

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars

My review:

Grumpy rockstar vs. sunshiny café owner made a fun storyline.  Although short, the book was cute and fast-paced.  It will make you laugh and leave you with a smile in the end.  This was the first time I have read a book by this author, and I would recommend it if you are looking for a short and cute book to read.

My review:

The Sacrifice is the fifteenth book in A Sinfully Tempting series, but I had no trouble reading it as a stand-alone.  This is still a fairly new author for me, but I really enjoyed this book and plan to go back and read the rest of the series.  It was fast-paced, had a great storyline, and had likable characters.

Mia moved back home and in with her brother after her ex dumped her, while she was waiting on another nanny position to come up.  When her brother’s best friend Jackson suddenly discovers he is a dad and needs a nanny, Mia reluctantly agrees to help him.  Jackson knew Mia hated him, but he needed a nanny fast and she was available.  Can forced proximity change their perspectives of each other?

This was a fun best friend’s sister and forced proximity romance that will leave you smiling.  It was entertaining and kept my attention until the end.  I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

My review:

WOW. This book took me by surprise. I wasn’t sure what a blind-date photo shoot was but what a perfect cute meet for Ramsey and Deacon. The connection between them was instantaneous and the chemistry was off the record. Deacon was able to see below Ramsey’s guarded heart and calm her fears. I loved watching the two workaholics slow down and discover the joy of life together. The book was heartbreaking and emotional but left me smiling and wanting to read more. I don’t feel the little sister’s best friend played a significant role in the book because Ramsey and Deacon were destined to be together. This was truly an excellent book and I highly recommend it. I look forward to more books from the author in the future.
