My review:
HOT Courage is the fifth book in the Hostile Operations Team: Strike Team 2 series. I’ve not read all of the series and I did not have any trouble reading this book as a standalone. Although after finishing it my curiosity was triggered and I can’t wait to go back and read the previous books. I loved meeting the team members and seeing their tight bonds with each other. This was Noah Cross’s “Easy” story, and it was an amazing book.
Noah had no idea his estranged sister had a daughter or that she had died. He was lost after discovering he was now the guardian of Alice, his two-year-old niece. His dangerous missions require him to leave at a moment’s notice and he couldn’t quit his job, so he needed a nanny quickly.
Jenna Lane met Noah and his teammates when they came into the café where she worked in. She was on the run but after losing her job she was desperate. She was reluctant to work for Noah because she didn’t want to endanger them, but she needed the job.
This was an incredible book and I really enjoyed reading it. It was full of intrigue, action, and new friendships. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and I highly recommend this book.
