Then Came Love is the ninth book in The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill-Oak Falls worlds. I love this author and her books are an automatic-must-read for me. I love the characters and how they have such fabulous relationships interwoven with her other book’s characters. It’s always wonderful getting to revisit and catch up with some of the previous characters. This book was beautifully written with perfect pacing and a wonderful storyline. Famous wedding-gown designer, Jax Braden, was intrigued by Jordan when she came for a consult on her wedding gown. He couldn’t stop thinking about her so when he sees her at a wedding, he knows he needs to follow his heart. He knows she is engaged but sees how her fiancée neglects her. Jax hopes she will realize her fiancée is a jerk and give him a chance. Jordan Lawler realizes her fiancée and she has a different type of relationship than all her friends. She has postponed their wedding several times because her fiancée expects her to move to the city and give up her search for her lost sister. She doesn’t understand why Jax affects her as he does but she knows it’s not right since she is engaged. Will she realize Jax is the man for her before it is too late? This was another amazing and entertaining book with a great storyline. Jax had such an awesome and giving personality. He showed such empathy and compassion for Jordan’s situation. Jordan’s character was sweet, but I feel like she didn’t contribute much to their relationship. Jax seemed to be the only one helping or showing support in their relationship. I would have liked to see it go both ways in their relationship. I enjoyed reading this book and as always look forward to future books by the author.
