🔥🔥TEASER BLAST🔥🔥 THE 14 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS by Louise Bay is coming November 16! #PreOrderHere Amazon https://amzn.to/3DTxtDv Apple https://apple.co/3pgaoqE Google Play https://bit.ly/3piKAKn I hate Christmas. As CEO of my company, I’ve banned decorations from the office, festive music from the lobby and any kind of secret Santa gifts between employees are strictly forbidden. I’m heading to the airport, away from the Christmas lights and the mulled wine, heading for sunshine and margaritas when I get a call from Granny. She’s sprained her ankle and needs my help filling in for her as head of the village Christmas Committee. Snowsly is the Christmas Capital of England and the last place I want to be in the lead up to Christmas. But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Granny. When I arrive in Snowsly, I’m introduced to Celia Sommers who is Christmas’ biggest fan and therefore my own personal nightmare before Christmas. Worse than that, I have to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success. It doesn’t matter if she’s smart and funny and easy to flirt with—if she doesn’t stop looking at me with her sparkling eyes and pouting her completely kissable lips, Celia is going straight to the top of my naughty list. Add to your Goodreads TBR List here: https://bit.ly/3aP62hM My rating: 4 out of 5 stars My review: The 14 Days of Christmas was a fun, cheerful, and festive romance that was quick and easy to read. The Snowsly village and characters were charming and easy to connect with. Sebastian quit celebrating Christmas after years of being disappointed as a child. Since then, he spends his Christmas holidays on the warm sandy beach of Barbados avoiding all festivities. About to leave town, he receives a call from his Granny requesting he come to the small village of Snowsly to help the town get ready for its big Christmas market. She had hurt her ankle and was not able to carry out the family traditions. Celia wants this year’s Christmas to be the best since her last one was dreadful. As part of the Christmas Committee, she has a lot to accomplish for a successful Christmas market. She was not going to allow Sebastian, the Christmas grinch, to ruin her Christmas this year so she must show him that Christmas is about family. I loved seeing Sebastian’s feelings for Christmas grow and him using his problem-solving skills to help Celia. His opinion of the holidays and festivities gradually change, and it was wonderful to see. I enjoyed meeting the people of Snowsly and observing the town’s matchmakers work their holiday magic. This was a fun and cheery holiday romance that will make you smile until the end. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. |
