Hold Me Now is the second book in the Light My Fire series, a firefighter series by J.H. Croix which takes place in small-town Willow Creek, Alaska. I have come to love this series and always look forward to new books by Croix.  Her stories are always full of emotions, beautifully written, and touch your heart. 

This is Russel and Paisley’s story, and it is perfect if you love small-town romances, hotshot firefighters, slow-burn romances, suspense, and witty banter.  Russel and Paisley might clash but the heat between them keeps the sparks flying. 

I always love a small-town romance and this one did not disappoint. This is certainly a book I would recommend, and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
