My rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy review: This was an entertaining small-town romance full of witty banter, charming characters, and a little bit of intrigue. This author has a way of developing characters that touch your heart and can instantly connect with. It was well written, the pacing was perfect, and the plot was developed. My attention was grabbed from the beginning, and I didn’t want to put the book down until I finished it. Ethan Hammersmith discovered the man who raised him was not his true dad as his mother was dying from cancer. He traveled to American a year ago looking for information on his real father. One of his leads brought him to the small-town of Forever Falls. His plans to blend in and gather information were ruined when all the single women stalk him. Divorcee Monroe Roberts was struggling to keep the diner open after giving up on her dreams of starting a bakery. So, when the handsome Australian suggests they pretend to be dating to help them both out, she agrees. Soon pretending starts to feel real but Monroe knows Ethan will be leaving Forever Falls. This was another amazing book from Ms. London and I am so glad I got the opportunity to read it. Ethan and Monroe were perfect for each other. Together they were able to find their way to a better future. Ethan was exactly what Monroe needed, he was always encouraging her and confident in her abilities. Monroe helped Ethan realize that family is what you make it. I highly recommend and can’t wait for more from the author. I received an ARC and am willingly leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
